Hello Ivan. Microsoft Office is indeed compatible with macOS 12 but its support is limited to specific versions. According to Microsoft’s official policy, the supported Office products for macOS Monterey include Microsoft 365 for like Mac, Office 2021 for Mac, and Office 2019 for Mac. This versions are designed to work with the three most recent major macOS releases, which as of September 2024 include macOS Sequoia, Sonoma, and Ventura. While Office apps will still function on macOS 12, users will no longer receive updates including security patches after the August 2024 update (version 16.88), which is the final build to support Monterey. For optimal performance and continued support, Microsoft recommends upgrading to macOS Ventura or later.
