Dear Shravan Vijaykar
Thanks for reaching out! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A. I'm Haien from Microsoft Q&A.
I understand that your 3-finger and 4-finger swipe gestures (swipe up, down, right, left) are no longer working on your Asus Vivobook S15 K3502ZA running Windows 11 25H2 Insider Preview, while the tap gestures still function. This issue appeared after installing Lively Wallpaper and logging off/on. You've already tried reinstalling and manually installing drivers, performing several reboots, and checking the Registry Editor, all without success. I understand how essential these gestures are for productivity! This problem, especially occurring after a software installation and on an Insider Preview build, points strongly to conflicts or issues with the touchpad driver or system-level gesture recognition.
To better assist you, may I ask if you are using Windows Insider 10 or Windows Insider 11? From what you described, I would assume Windows Insider 11. If I am wrong, please update so I can assist you with more appropriate solutions
Since you’re on an Insider build with an Asus device, here are some steps to try:
When using Insider Preview, please note that this is pre-release software and may have potential bugs or incompatibilities. While Microsoft is always working to fix download issues, overall stability can be more unpredictable than a stable release. Therefore, if none of the above solutions work, please consider these 2 options:
Options 1: Download the latest Windows 11 stable ISO
Options 2: Install the latest Windows 11 Insider (if necessary)
