My powerpoint file did not save up properly

For your situation, please take note this point: 

Unlike the desktop version, PowerPoint on iPad does not support AutoRecover, so if AutoSave was off or the app crashed before saving, unfortunately, unsaved changes may not be recoverable. 

However, you can try 2 below solutions: 

1. Check Version History in OneDrive: 

If your file was saved to OneDrive and AutoSave was enabled: 

• You can open the OneDrive app. Then, locate your PowerPoint file. 
• Tap the three dots (•••) next to the file name. 
• Select Version History to restore an earlier version that may contain your recent changes.

2. Check Recent Files in PowerPoint: 

You also go to the “Recent tab” on PowerPoint to look for the file and see if any unsaved version is still listed. 

Additionally, to support you better, please provide me more detail information: 

1. Have you experienced the same issue with other PowerPoint files on your iPad, or was it just this one? 
2. Are you using a work or school account (managed by your organization) or personal account?
