    Dear Aoife Trainor,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community, and thank you for reaching out.

On iPhone/iPad, the PowerPoint app does not currently support the full “Record Slide Show” feature like the desktop version does. However, you can still record your presentation using a workaround with the iPhone/iPad’s built-in screen recording feature. Here’s how:

    1. Enable Screen Recording:
      • Go to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls.
      • Add Screen Recording to your Control Center.
    2. Prepare Your Presentation:
      • Open your PowerPoint file.
      • Rotate your iPad to landscape mode for the best view.
    3. Start Recording:
      • Swipe down from the top-right corner to open Control Center.
      • Press and hold the Record button.
      • Tap the Microphone icon to enable audio.
      • Tap Start Recording and begin your presentation.
    4. Stop Recording:
      • Open Control Center again and tap the Record button to stop.
      • Your recording will be saved to the Photos app.

We understand this feature is important, and your feedback helps us improve. If you'd like to request the Record Slide Show feature for iPad, you can submit feedback directly through the PowerPoint app:

    1. Open the PowerPoint app on your iPhone or iPad.
    2. Tap your profile icon in the top left corner.
    3. Scroll down and tap Settings.
    4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Help & Feedback.
    5. Tap Send Feedback.
    6. Choose "I have a suggestion" or "I encountered a problem", depending on your case.
    7. Describe the issue clearly
    8. Tap Send to submit your feedback to Microsoft.

    Warm regards,

Chris-DKN - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist.
