Problem with translator in Office 2016

Hello,

I have problem with my Translator in Office applications. I can't choose another language than English and Deutsch.

I tried reinstalling my Office 2016 but the problem remained the same. Most of my colleagues already have Office 2021, but one of them also has 2016. But the translator works for him. I am attaching a printscreen from the "Translation Options" settings, where my colleague can choose from a number of languages, but for me only English and German. I have Windows 11, he has Windows 10.

Good morning,

I tried this solution before - it didn't work. The problem must be something else. But well, I tried it again exactly according to your instructions.

In fact I need to translate between English, Czech and Polish. I want Czech for the user interface and default language.

In language options I did not have Deutsch ("Němčina (Německo)"), I dont need it, but that language works. Therefore the problem must be somewhere else

I understand that you have Office 2016 installed on your device but you have limited language translation option compared to the Office 2016 installed on your friends device. I'll be providing answer to your request.

The Microsoft Translator feature in your Office 2016 may be showing limited language pairs due to some language packs missing or not installed on your system or the Microsoft translator service might not be fully functional or updated on your machine. To be able to enable more translation languages, do the following:

Visit the official Microsoft page through this link: Install the Language Accessory Packs for Office 2016 - Microsoft Support
Download the Language Accessory Pack for each language you want to use
After installation: >> Open any Office app (e.g., Word). >> Go to File > Options > Language. >> Under Choose Editing Languages, add the new languages. >> Under Choose Display and Help Languages, set your preferences. >> Restart Office apps.

Check Translation Options

>> In Word or Excel, go to Review > Translate > Translation Options.

>> After installing the language packs, you should see more language pairs available.
