Hello GWENDOLINE HOANG YU WEN,
Good morning,
Welcome to Microsoft Community, we are here to help
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I understand that you need assistance with OneNote Crashing. If OneNote keeps crashing on your mobile device, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Force Stop the App
- Go to Settings > Apps > OneNote.
- Tap Force Stop to close the app completely.
- Restart OneNote and check if the issue persists.
2. Clear Cache and Data
- Navigate to Settings > Apps > OneNote > Storage.
- Tap Clear Cache first and test the app.
- If the issue continues, tap Clear Data (this will remove locally stored notes, so ensure everything is synced before doing this).
3. Update OneNote
- Open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Search for Microsoft OneNote and check for updates.
- Install the latest version, as updates often fix bugs and improve stability.
4. Reinstall OneNote
- Uninstall the app from your device.
- Restart your phone.
- Reinstall OneNote from the app store.
5. Check for System Updates
- Go to Settings > System > Software Update.
- Install any pending updates, as system compatibility issues can sometimes cause app crashes.
6. Sign Out and Sign Back In
- Open OneNote and go to Settings > Account.
- Sign out of your Microsoft account.
- Restart the app and sign back in.
Hope this helps,
Best Regards,
JK
