Microsoft excel stock data not updating today, May 16th, is this a know issue?

Hi Andrew - i share your pain! My conversation with them this morning (7.30am-9am) went for 90 minutes - huge transcript too - all for nothing, as problem not resolved. The support person even wrote over my financial excel file they were looking at suggesting the data stocks not refreshing was because i needed a new user account and apps recovered / reinstalled. (Luckily i have a backup of my file). My apps are all working fine. My computer and internet working fine. I was shuffled from 1st level support, to 2nd level support - they know its their issue, but nothing happens. Its incredibly frustrsting. Good on you for trying your hardest to get the issue resolved. Maybe tomorrow.......???

What Bing link are you using? I don't use Bing or MSN so don't know what to pull up.

I reached out to Microsoft support again and now have a case number - 7076357009. This is one step further than what happened with my first contact on Saturday.

They have admitted that the problem may lay with a data provider. I will get an update (hopefully) by the end of the week. If anyone who has contributed to this post has not yet lodged a service request with Microsoft, please do as this will give them more data to work with.

Type in an Aussie share e.g. CBA share price - the price is still $169.74 and the date is 7:03am 15 May!
