I have already done all that, checked for updates, shut it down and restarted, checked my subscription, logged in and out, refreshed 1000 times.

I have tried on my PC and on 2 different laptops, started new spreadsheets, still does not work.

I am in Australia, this issue i think is with Australian stocks, as the US stocks are updating, giving me last trade date of 16th May, whereas the Australian stocks still say 15th May as last trade date.

    Example

Price Extended Hours Previous Trade Date
    AMAZON.COM, INC. (XNAS:AMZN) $            205.59 $                    204.97 $                                   205.17 16/05/2025 21:03
    MASTERCARD INCORPORATED. (XNYS:MA) $            583.13 $                    581.00 $                                   582.20 16/05/2025 20:54
    WOOLWORTHS GROUP LIMITED (XASX:WOW) $              31.95 $                                     31.51 15/05/2025 6:54

    Hello Chris,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community Forum.

As per your description, Microsoft has not officially recognized any issues with Excel stock data updates as of now. Our systems are functioning normally, and no service disruptions have been reported. However, you can try these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

First, ensure you have a stable internet connection and that you are signed in with the correct Microsoft account. Next, verify that your Office apps are up-to-date. In Excel for Mac, click Help in the menu bar, then select Check for Updates. Installing the latest updates can often resolve temporary data synchronization issues. For more details, refer to our official guide on updating Office for Mac.

Then, try manually refreshing your stock data by selecting the relevant cells or the entire worksheet and clicking Data > Refresh All. If the issue continues, sign out of Excel and sign back in to re-establish your connection with our services. Additionally, check our Microsoft 365 Service Health Status page to see if there is a known service disruption affecting stock data.

Hope this information will help in resolving the issue.

    Regards,

    Matt | Microsoft Community Moderator
