How to recover OneNote from tablet?

I've been using OneNote on my tablet and I was syncing my files. I was signed into OneNote, but Outlook was signed out. After signing out of OneNote on my tablet and signing back in, I can't find my previous files. I've checked the cache files, but all I found were bin file types. I also looked through the backup and recycle bin, but the files aren't there. Have I lost them forever, or is there a way to recover them?

Check the Cloud Storage:

If your files were syncing, they may still be saved in your OneDrive account (if it was linked to OneNote). Sign in to OneDrive using the same account you were using in OneNote and check for a "Notebooks" folder or search for the names of your missing notebooks.

Recover from Account Sync:

If you signed into OneNote with a different Microsoft account than your original one, you won't see the synced notes. Ensure you're using the correct account in OneNote.
To confirm which account was used previously, log into the OneNote desktop app or web version (https://www.onenote.com/) and check if your files appear.

Rebuild Cache Files:

The bin files you found in the cache may contain parts of your notes. While they can't be directly opened in OneNote, you might be able to recover data by contacting Microsoft Support for assistance—they can often extract data from these files.

Check Device Backups:

If your tablet performs automatic backups, your OneNote files might be included. Look for device backups in your tablet's settings to see if you can restore them.

Reach Out to Microsoft Support:

Microsoft may be able to assist further if your notes were recently synced and lost. You can contact them through the OneNote app or their support website (https://support.microsoft.com/).
