Contact your school I.T. department to see if their license covers the desktop version of Office. Otherwise you would have to buy Office without Outlook, with Outlook, or subscribe to Microsoft 365 with a Personal plan.
A free alternative to Office is LibreOffice, which has pretty good Office compatibility.
You can use your school mail login your Microsoft 365 in activate page.
