- Please check if you have any of your devices where you are logged into your Microsoft account (which is to be recovered). If so, check if you have any Password Manager tool to retrieve the current password for your account, by any chance.
- If you were successful in the above step, the please fill the Microsoft-Services Account Reset which would ask you a series of questions. If prompted, please provide your username and the current password. If you are asked to provide any phone number to get a security code to verify, please do so.
- Once, you can log into your Microsoft account, you can then change the password and even change the phone number.
- In case, the above provided steps do not resolve the issue and if you have followed the steps and filled the Microsoft account recovery form earlier, but it was unsuccessful, then please find the steps provided on the link: Account recovery unsuccessful - Microsoft Support
- You can keep tryingto submit the Microsoft account recovery form as many times as you want, up to two times per day until Microsoft verifies your account. Please note: Filling the Microsoft account recovery form with sufficient, accurate, and complete information is the only way to recover your Microsoft account.
