Why my shortcut key for Bold option automatically change from 'Ctrl+B' to 'Ctrl+ N'? (Word for Windows)

I'm currently using Microsoft 365 and while using word, my shortcut key for Bold option automatically change from 'Ctrl+B' to 'Ctrl+ N'

I have to change it back to 'Ctrl + B' manually (several times) but it keeps automatically changing to 'Ctrl + N' again and again. It is quite annoying.

I change my shortcut for Bold option back to 'crtl + B' as inserted picture

Please let me know how to set 'Ctrl + B' as a shortcut key for Bold option permamently.

    1. Open Word Options:
      • Go to File > Options.
    2. Customize Ribbon:
      • Select Customize Ribbon from the left menu.
      • Click on the Customize button next to Keyboard shortcuts at the bottom.
    3. Modify Shortcut:
      • In the Categories list, select Home Tab.
      • In the Commands list, find and select Bold.
      • In the Current keys box, you might see Ctrl + N. Click on it and press Remove.
      • In the Press new shortcut key box, press Ctrl + B.
      • Click Assign and then Close.
    4. Save Changes:
      • Click OK to save your changes and close the Word Options dialog.

    I've did exact same steps several times but it keep automatically changing back to 'Ctrl + N' over an over

    Unfortunatelly it is not the best solution.

    1. The bold shortcut is not only one shortcut which is changed.
    2. Sometimes Word back to "standard" wrong shortcuts

    Microsfot technical support told me that it is somethiong wrong with Wor files and I have to remove oiffice manualy (incluiding registry cleaning) and install again. Adter that, shortcuts had back to standard (proper one), unfortunatelly only for two weeks. After that issue come back :-/

    I am afraid that in not solve the issue. More than one shortcuts are wrong. E.g. open new document.

    This does work for me, only i have to do it daily, because each morning it has reverted back to the ctrl + N. Very annoying, i hope it gets fixed soon!
