Why my shortcut key for Bold option automatically change from 'Ctrl+B' to 'Ctrl+ N'? (Word for Windows)

I'm currently using Microsoft 365 and while using word, my shortcut key for Bold option automatically change from 'Ctrl+B' to 'Ctrl+ N'

I have to change it back to 'Ctrl + B' manually (several times) but it keeps automatically changing to 'Ctrl + N' again and again. It is quite annoying.

I change my shortcut for Bold option back to 'crtl + B' as inserted picture

Please let me know how to set 'Ctrl + B' as a shortcut key for Bold option permamently.

    Since a few days my alteration to the settings has not been changed overnight. It seems that the problem has been resolved, so i am slightly optimistic. To be clear, before then i would alter the settings to have ctrl + B be the combination for bold, but each night they would revert back to ctrl + N, so i just changed it daily. Now it seems to stay the way i want it to.

    I hope that it stays this way!

    Out of curiosity, have you received the 2412 update for Office?

    This seems to have worked perfectly, and as an additional action, removed CTRL-N from the list of potential shortcuts for Bold. Thank you

    I suggest a different approach: let's all switch to Google Docs and it will be fixed in notime.

    Same isssue, this is crazy how this is not found during testing and that it actually took this long for them to fix this! Automation testing at its best!
