I created a PowerPoint presentation, but when I went back to open it, most of the pictures and videos have "The picture can't be displayed" on them, and the pictures/videos don't show on the slide show. Previous PowerPoint presentations (which were created on same PC) still open and their slide shows work properly.
I am using Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019. Windows 10 current version. My presentation is 808MB, though a second version I saved is only 39MB - odd. I put pictures and videos into the presentation by using CNTL-C from windows explorer and CNTL-V into the presentation slide. Text and shapes I inserted are still showing. The presenter notes still all show. When I was working on it and getting close to done, I noticed that it was taking extra long to save.
I have tried the following, none of which made any difference:
- reinstall Microsoft Office
- restarts of PC
- delete a portion of the presentation to make it smaller
- copy the presentation to a thumb drive and try to open it on another PC.
- open the presentation with 'Other Options' then 'Open and Repair'
Any suggestions for what else I can try to save many hours of work?
