I have a problem where all of our SharePoint lists in our tenancy are displaying dates in the US date format despite being in a country that uses a different date format. This applies to all users and all sites in the tenancy.
I have checked the date format for my user account and the date format for the site. Other dates in the site (such as the last published date of the home page) are showing in the correct date format. When I go to edit the list value it shows in the correct date format in the edit window, however when displaying the List it shows the dates in the incorrect date format.
I am the site administrator and tenancy administrator; I have checked the regional settings for the SharePoint site, for my user account and for the tenancy.
[EDIT]
For anyone having a similar issue I have just found the solution myself.
Edit the column field for an affected list, select "Include Time", edit one row entry, make no changes and click OK, then edit the column field back to remove the "Include Time" setting. That specific list now displays the correct date setting. Repeat the process for each affected list.
Would be great if this wasn't a glitch that requires manual intervention after correcting regional settings, but I now at least have a way to solve the problem.
