Copilot 365 is not generating PowerPoints on my android devices like it does on my iOS devices and Windows laptop. It creates an outline but never gets to the PowerPoint itself

    Dear T.J. Staup,

Hello! Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you and I cannot use Copilot to create content in PowerPoint. It only gives you a text version of the outline. But you can use it to create content on Windows or IOS devices.

I fully understand the confusion caused by this issue, and I will try my best to explain it to you.

This is actually an adaptability issue for different devices. According to the current article on the official website, Copilot does not support direct presentation generation on Android devices. Please refer to:

Create a new presentation with Copilot in PowerPoint - Microsoft Support

    Here are some possible reasons:

    1. Functionality limitations: Copilot for Android may not be fully developed or optimized, especially for complex content creation features such as presentations. Microsoft typically launches full functionality on desktop and iOS first, and then gradually expands to other platforms.
    2. Technical compatibility: The diversity of the Android system (different brands, versions, and devices) may increase the complexity of development and testing, resulting in some features not being implemented or promoted for the time being.

I hope I have explained this issue clearly to you. If you have any ideas or suggestions, you can give feedback to Microsoft through the following link:

If you have any further questions, feel free to let me know.

    Best wishes
