I cannot set up MS Defender on my ipad

I have a family MS Office 365 and MS Defender installed on My iphone but when I try to install on my ipad. I get "invalid license, please contact administrator" Why is this happening is I have a valid Office 365 account

    Can you change to another device to add the alias and try to try the login on the iPad?

    I have added the alias on another device but this makes no difference, I cannot login. I do not have google family link installed
