How to change the default landing page on a Teams channel

Can I get the home page I have created on a channel to be the default landing page on Teams?
At the moment it goes straight to Posts but I need it to automatically open on the home page I have created.

Currently, Microsoft Teams does not offer a built-in feature to set a custom home page as the default landing page for a channel. By default, Teams channels open to the "Posts" tab.

This is due to a design change and currently, there isn't an out-of-the-box solution to address this. However, our product developers are always open to user suggestions, so I encourage you to submit your feedback on our Microsoft Teams · Community. This way, they can consider your ideas for future improvements.

This needs to be changed. I would like to be able to open with Planner or OneNote where I can plan and execute my day. Most of us use team to organize our work and starting with "Posts" or any Chat or email is not the way to do that as it distracts us.

The same thing for Outlook which should be a tool for getting things done and not just for writing mails.

Completely agree. We need to be able to change the settings so that we can open a Teams Channel on "Home" or "Files", or on another option. Opening to the "Posts" page is not helpful in many cases.

I agree and am currently following this to see if a future update to Teams allows to change the default landing page to "Files", or a tab designated by the channel admin.

The ability to set a default channel page should be added, no doubt. Unless Microsoft wants Teams to just function as a chat app rather than a collaborative hub.
