Hi, parkrgr
Welcome to the Microsoft Community.
- Noticed that you selected the category Microsoft 365 and Office / PowerPoint / For home / Android. Are you currently using an Android device? If so, which specific device are you using?
Typically, you can refer to the following steps to change the slide orientation on a PC:
- Select the Design tab:
- Near the right end, select Slide Size, and then click Custom Slide Size.
- In the Slide Size dialog box, select Portrait, then select OK.
- In the next dialog box, you can select Maximize to take full advantage of the space available, or you can select Ensure Fit to make sure that your content fits on the vertical page.
However, due to the limited functionality of the Android version of PowerPoint, it is not possible to directly adjust the slide orientation. You can try using the PowerPoint web version (accessed via a browser at Office.com):
- Log in to your Microsoft account.
- Open PowerPoint web version and edit your presentation.
- Change the slide orientation following similar steps as the desktop version.
