How to do the refund

Typically if you purchase directly your subscription from Microsoft to get refund you need to cancel your subscription.

To check refund eligibility on a subscription you purchased from Microsoft, you will need to cancel it first. Reference: Cancel your Microsoft business subscription in the Microsoft 365 admin center | Microsoft Learn

**Important:**Not all cancellations will result in a refund.

If you want a refund because don't recognize a charge on your account, you can now investigate it on the Manage your payments page of your Microsoft account dashboard. Learn more.

please may i know your subscription type: Is personal subscription (family subscription etc..), or subscription from reseller (if you purchase your subscription from reseller you need to contact your reseller ).

However i would like to inform as well that any issue with subscription are supported by our billing team, You can refer to this article to check the way how to raise a ticket. Ways to contact support for business products - Admin help.

I mistakenly purchased the pdf x and did not use - I attempted to cancel subscription but says I purchased annual subscription and can’t cancel. I wld like full refund as I never used and attempted to cancel within the hour of being notified!
