I am using Excel, latest version for Mac, 16.93.1 (25011917), and following a recent update either to 16.93 or 16.93.1 I have systematically an error message if I interrupt a calculation : "Excel ran out of resources while attempting to calculate one or more formulas. As a result, these formulas cannot be evaluated." after this error I must always quit excel and restart which is very annoying. Anyone having the same issue ?

We are seeing it pop up in less complex spreadsheets as well: ones without Lambda functions and those that are clearly not a complicated enough to cause a resource shortage. These also did not have any issues for years prior January 31 2025.
We did not roll back to the older version of Office yet as we seem to be operational but very annoyed.

2025-02-19T22:43:24+00:00 Niko, yes I still have the issue. Same here, I didn't roll back, I am rather looking the next release. Btw Microsoft Excel Team did reply to me on the 14th, looks it was an automatic reply since all the answers were already in my initial request (when did it happen, which version, sample file triggering the problem..). Anyway I replied to each question immediately, and didn't get any feedback yet. I'll let you know when they get back to me.

2025-02-24T04:39:42+00:00 We encountered the same issue - our sheets are using a lot of LAMBDA() functions, critically so. My PC is Windows 11, Intel i7 14th-Gen CPU, turbo boost disabled, but saw on 13th-Gen CPUs too.
We rolled back to build 16.0.18324.20194. We have instructed our IT administator to freeze automatic Office 365 updates pending updates on the issue. FYI we contacted MS support line, they asked us to do forensic logging etc... we asked them to refer to this thread.
