I moved my database from microsoft works. Does it Work??

    I can view the data but when I try to do something like add a field a window pops up that says "Microsoft Access can't save property changes for linked tables.

    So, this error messages reveals that you have a split database application. That's the good news. We always recommend splitting Access database applications into a Front End accdb with forms, reports and VBA and a Back End accdb with only the tables. Whoever migrated your application apparently did that.

    You should, therefore, have two accdbs. They should be named similarly, e.g. MyApplication_FE.accdb and MyApplication_BE.accdb. Look for the one that contains the tables and make your table changes in it.
