How do I stop Teams items appearing in Quick Acess when I am SAVING (using Save As) a Word or Excel document?

Every time I try to use the Save As feature to save a Word or Excel document, Teams channels appear in the Quick Access area. I don't want these items to appear. This just started happening last week. Normally the folders I have added to Quick access show up..

    Hello,

    I had the same issue! Super annoying. But I just found a workaround.

    Apologies if this has already been shared and I did not see it.

    If you customize the quick access toolbar,

    then add either "Save As", "Save as Another File Type", or "Save As Other Format", when you click any of them it will open the legacy version of saving.

    Absolutely agree - if Microsoft is going to arbitrarily roll out changes at least give us the option to 'undo' things that are especially annoying to us and that we never asked for.

    Harry - Good job with your response. It's helpful to know there isn't a solution.

    And I strongly share the frustrations expressed by others on this post. Please escalate and ensure those who can fix this know of user annoyance. Please also alert them that making us figure out how to report this frustration in another place is also annoying.
