Every time I try to use the Save As feature to save a Word or Excel document, Teams channels appear in the Quick Access area. I don't want these items to appear. This just started happening last week. Normally the folders I have added to Quick access show up..

Even though it is a work around, and yess the "Quick Access"/Team Channel links in the save window have not disappeared. I am super happy to now have the option to click on a save as button in my quick access toolbar and bypass all of this "MS365 Noise" to save a file.
Thank you - this is a great work around. It made my day.
Now hoping MS365 will get their act together and fix the original issue....
And I send some feedback through HELP/FEEDBACK in excel. Highly recommend all that experience this as a problem to Report the Problem.
As a further tip, if you do find yourself in the Save As... dialog box with all the non-relevant teams sites listed, instead of scrolling to the bottom to the browse option on the left navigation pane, just click on the path at the top < C: > Users > Name > Etc > and the Browse box will open. In order to make the default easy for you, go to the Save Settings Option and check <Save to Computer by default>, and enter the desired path there.
I agree. I do not want MSTeams locations in Quick Access for MSWord. I will never use them, and they take up the entire sidebar. I would like the option to remove them as they are hindering productivity. Thank you for your consideration.
This is brilliant! I was reading this whole thread and totally agree that the new Save As roll out sucks and I was locking all over the options for a solution. I never would have thought of this since it isn't really a Quick Access Toolbar problem. Thank you so much!!!!
