How do I stop Teams items appearing in Quick Acess when I am SAVING (using Save As) a Word or Excel document?

Every time I try to use the Save As feature to save a Word or Excel document, Teams channels appear in the Quick Access area. I don't want these items to appear. This just started happening last week. Normally the folders I have added to Quick access show up..

    I found a work around that helps. If you add Save As to your Quick Access toolbar, you can use this vs the standard file save as method.

    In Word for Windows, if you want to go to the classic Save As dialog box, the quickest method is to press F12 on your keyboard. Note that some keyboards may require that you press Fn+F12 (rather than just F12).

    Hi Dennis,

    Thank you for the screenshot above and for adding your explanation as to "why we'd like to get rid of the Teams folders". That's exactly the same reason we'd like the option of hiding that new feature.

    This is so irritating. You are able to hide them in Teams but not in the other applications. Hiding the Teams or Channels doesn't get rid of the window though, they just don't show there anymore.

    Microsoft is a dictatorship so I highly doubt they would pay any attention to their users.

    So many of their changes just don't make sense and working becomes inefficient.
