Hi,
I've been working with hundreds of presentations using YouTube videos and had no trouble with ads till now (8/5/24).
I have a Premium YouTube account and have spoken with tech support at YouTube and Microsoft. The problem remains unresolved.

I feel your pain! I teach a kids class at my church and I rely on the videos in my presentation. Then at the beginning of August the adds started. It is such a break in the flow of a class. I have noticed that videos that I used in previous presentations, that didn't have ads don't have them if I copy and paste the video to the new one. That is only helpful if you know what videos are in what presentation. I will keep checking back to see if anything changes.
I have been having the same problem. I pay for YouTube Premium and only get the ads when I embed them in the Power Point. I am a teacher, and cannot have political ads playing in the classroom. It is literally against the law in my state for a teacher to talk biased politics much less have biased ads playing to a classroom of students. It has derailed my seamless instruction also.
It's frustrating because Microsoft says it's not their problem, but theirs is the only application where this is happening. I've been doing this for over a decade with no problem as a YouTube Premium Member until a couple of months ago.

Out of curiosity, and because it might help others solve the problem, what other applications are YouTube links working correctly (as in "No Ads") in?
