Has anyone noticed whether ALL videos moved from Youtube actually generate ads once they're in Powerpoint? I find that some do and some don't. In my case, maybe 1 in 4 don't. I''m not sure, but I suspect these videos don't generate ads on Youtube in the first place. If I could tailor my selection of videos to those that are ad-free, it would help me a lot.
For example, nothing uploaded to Youtube by the ABC - that's the Australian national (government-funded) broadcaster - seems to generate ads, while videos from commercial channels do. Also, videos of university seminars and other serious meetings, seem to arrive in powerpoint ad-free.
I asked Youtube if they could give me an indication of what type of content creator to look for to avoid ads, but I didn't get a clear answer.
Any thoughts?
