Microsoft Translator Not Translating

Using Translator in a group conversational setting for my ELD (English Language Development) class. Students can join the conversation session, but after the first few words are translated into their chosen language, the transcript stops translating and only shows English/English. I am using Lenovo ThinkPad, students are on Chromebooks.

Additionally, for some reason, when students join the session but have to leave to refresh the page or internet connections, the session still recognizes them as in the session. Still, they cannot rejoin or access the conversation.

We have restarted computer systems, tabs, windows, and the app. We have also started new sessions. The issues began on Thursday, 8/15/24.

We are having an international conference on November 29th and we wanted to use Microsoft Translator to offer the international audience translation of the spoken English on stage into their native language.

Does anyone know of a fix before that date ???

We've been using this for about a year for a multilingual church. It's become so unreliable the past month or so I'm looking for alternatives. Has anyone from Microsoft replied to this forum? Microsoft tech support wasn't able to help and suggested I email the Translator development team. I haven't heard back after several tries. I'm fairly convinced it has to be on Microsoft's side and only speculate the problem.

Nope, I guess it's across all devices. We'd been using Android in presenter mode and translating with web based app. After we started having this issue I tried an iOS device (iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone) as troubleshooting. Those worked when I tried. I was hopeful this could be a workaround, but the translation issue may be intermittent.

I have not heard from anyone from Microsoft. My teachers have pretty much abandoned using it at this point. The conversation feature was amazing.
