Microsoft Translator Not Translating

Using Translator in a group conversational setting for my ELD (English Language Development) class. Students can join the conversation session, but after the first few words are translated into their chosen language, the transcript stops translating and only shows English/English. I am using Lenovo ThinkPad, students are on Chromebooks.

Additionally, for some reason, when students join the session but have to leave to refresh the page or internet connections, the session still recognizes them as in the session. Still, they cannot rejoin or access the conversation.

We have restarted computer systems, tabs, windows, and the app. We have also started new sessions. The issues began on Thursday, 8/15/24.

We are on the same boat as everybody else this school year. The program worked pretty successfully last school year. We are always getting the generic "Something went wrong, try again" error message on chromebooks, and the never ending circle on the https://translator.microsoft.com/ site. Our classroom ENL students heavily depend on this program and it's god sent when it works!

Greetings all. We have been using this application in our worship services for about 8 months and it has been fantastic. We have now been having the same problem as everyone else on this thread. Is there a fix in place? A timeline for correcting? We do not want to try to find a different application but we will not have a choice. Any advice, updates is appreciated.

We are not using the teams app. We are having problems on all types of devices - chromebooks, macs, pc's, (via the website), ipads, iphones, and android devices (via the app). The two main problems are that when in a conversation, the dialogue is not translated (even though the correct language has been selected) OR participants cannot get into a conversation - the circle just spins and spins. The first problem can sometimes be solved by leaving the conversation and returning, but the second problem is happening more and more frequently and we have NOT found a solution. (Please see the images uploaded by another user below.) We are working with groups of about 5-15 participants. We have tried refreshing the browser, clearing history - cache & cookies, restarting the devices, updating the devices, and even "powerwashing" the chromebooks but have not found anything that solves the problem of not being able to get into the conversation.

We are having a similar issue at my school. We have the app downloaded on iPads. We are using conversation mode. On the teacher device, it is typing what the teacher is saying, but on the student devices, it is not doing anything. When a student types in a question, it does not translate it back to the teacher.

We have tried starting new conversations, closing the app, powering off, and as off last week that would work. Today it is not working.

Last year this app worked beautifully. Is there an update that we are missing somehow? Did something change?

    Thanks!
