A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data
Great workaround! Thanks - this has helped my frustration with the silly Quick Access that I can't get rid of either!
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
The quick access pane is providing links that I do not have write access to and never save to, and I need the 'Browse' folder option at the bottom, which I now have to use the scroll bar in order to select. This is adding extra steps and reducing efficiency, so I would like to remove the Quick Access pane.

We face Similar issue when click on Open a file a long list of Quick access appears. How to remove that??
The work around of putting the "Save As" on the quick launch bar works for saving but I still have the issue when trying to open files, I still have to scroll down past a bunch of quick access/shared files before I can get to browse. @Microsoft - this is B.S. give us a way to turn this off or on.
This made me laugh, thank you!
I see everyone's folders also because I am a global administrator on our Sharepoint system. And you are correct, I cannot add my own folders to the "Quick Access" list. Very frustrating.
agreed, hoping Microsoft will get the hint and fix it!
