A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data
Great work-around! Thank you!

The quick access pane is providing links that I do not have write access to and never save to, and I need the 'Browse' folder option at the bottom, which I now have to use the scroll bar in order to select. This is adding extra steps and reducing efficiency, so I would like to remove the Quick Access pane.

With Microsoft's infinite wisdom and yet another attempt to be helpful <insert sarcasm here>, they have screwed things up and ticked off their customer base... again. Just had a Help Desk call come in about this from an upset employee. Unfortunately, MS hasn't provided ANY method of controlling or editing "Quick Access", which is about as stupid as it gets.
Yes Microsoft please remove this feature or allow us to modify it. I want browse at the top, not all these quick access suggestions. Most are from teams.
Please God (and Microsoft),
Take this "Feature" away. Do you have any idea in a large business how many One Note files I've touched? Now to save stuff in places I save stuff to multiple times daily, I have a scroll through a list of every one note document I've touched in the last 2 years. It's infuriating.
Hoping to come back to this thread just to see if MS had replied yet with a response...now I'm just posting HOPING that MS notices takes this kind of thing seriously. For home use, I can muscle through it, not a big deal, but it's not only tiresome in a work environment, it's hurting our efficiency.
Hi Nate, this changes the top Quick Access icons, not the long list that shows up on the "Open" option. That brings up a ton of SharePoint sites that I never save documents to. I want that **** gone!
