In Excel, how do I remove the Quick Access pane in the File Save interface?

Hi Rick. That does take you down to the bottom of the screen, but you still have to scroll down through all the garbage. If you don't have your Excel expanded enough to see it dropped down, then you're still needing to manually scroll down as if you didn't hit the F12. For those who work on massive spreadsheet that fill the screen, it probably won't be a problem, for me, it's still a headache. Why is Microsoft making the assumption we want to save it to SharePoint or OneDrive. Let me pick what I want at the top of my Quick Access, then I'll be happy! Thanks for the hint!

Looks like this started when some kind of connection was added to MS Teams... The same quick access locations will be in the "onedrive" menu in MS teams. BUT I found a work around....

If you use the "save as" icon in the quick access toolbar or use the F12 key, they both bypasses the "Quick Access Locations" in the save menu.

This is an awful feature with no obvious workaround.

The time and energy I've wasted trying to find an answer to remove this flawed feature that appeared without notice, pales in comparison to the time this feature wastes for my work, just to try and force me to use Microsoft's prferred approach to file saving.

Microsoft seem determined to lower the quality and utility of their products, without accepting any user feedback.

Excel becomes less and less efficient with every update.

Please make these "brilliant" ideas to promote SharePoint stop, or at least user configurable. Whatever you do, I'm still going to find my Desktop and I'm still going to use it.
