In Excel, how do I remove the Quick Access pane in the File Save interface?

The quick access pane is providing links that I do not have write access to and never save to, and I need the 'Browse' folder option at the bottom, which I now have to use the scroll bar in order to select. This is adding extra steps and reducing efficiency, so I would like to remove the Quick Access pane.

I second this, the most annoying and unnecessary change to Microsoft Office Apps.

Microsoft needs to add an option to remove this from showing up, not everyone works that way! I built years of muscle memory to save documents and now I'm constantly making these silly mistakes that affect my overall production.

    Microsoft!!!!!!!!!!!! Do Something!!!!!

    Above sadly didn't work.

Selected "Save to Computer by Default"

Deselected "Show additional places for saving even if sign-in may be required.

Deselected "AutoSave files stored in the Cloud by default in Excel" also didn't work.
