Is Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) Dead? November 2024. I see its migrated to Get Help.
I can't seem to open it anymore.
It was my very effective tool to troubleshoot Office application problems.
Can you help provide alternatives? and must be a Microsoft product like SaRa.
Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.

Somebody at Microsoft thought what a brilliant tool SARA is everyone is using it because it is simple and intuitive. I think I will make a new more complicated tool that may or may not be of any use to users.

Yes, I am aware of the new and not at all improved troubleshooter.
A while back, I asked a question about this change to the Word/Office product group (see page 2 in this thread at https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/microsoft-support-and-recovery-assistant-sara-is/245ede55-5170-4ab5-bb6d-3b06fd7bdfb6?page=2) but I never received a follow-up. :-(

I am glad to see all the responses here, unfortunately I do not think anything will change because "they" know better
FWIW what about LTSC, Iot, etc.
Remember when MS made Quick Assist an APP?
Crippled support from LTSC, but it led me to Splashtop which is inexpensive and much better anyway
MS could of left the original SARA tool available and added one in help
The one in help does not work BTW, or it maybe because we removed the feedback hub?

I will be done with this garbage soon enough
If MS had any competition they would be out of business, we are all too entrenched at this point
Hats off to Dave Netstable in going to Linux, but be careful as MS has infiltrated Linux and I am sure they will bugger it up soon
MS has always had an embrace and replace mentality, it is their SOP
Even a bigger issue than SARA is the new taskbar, ****, what a useless POS
