Is Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) Dead? November 2024. I see its migrated to Get Help.
I can't seem to open it anymore.
It was my very effective tool to troubleshoot Office application problems.
Can you help provide alternatives? and must be a Microsoft product like SaRa.

I'm definitely not going down the uninstall route (in case this makes things worse). I just need to SARA tool back please!

2024-12-19T16:42:49+00:00 This is such a horrendous decision to axe this tool. One of the few MS utilities that I could count on to resolve issues... The new get help tool is a childs toy in comparison to SARA. What bean counter decided on this?

2024-12-18T11:30:19+00:00 I don't understand why remove it completely all of the sudden. The tool was a major help for us with OneDrive Sync issues. Now we have to plan installing "Get Help" feature to all computers and users.
We as IT personals don't have an issue with downloading the tool every day if we have too, just to solve an issue (This is what is currently mentioned of the SARA tool after installing.)
A solution that took 5 minutes, now it's days (literally a case we have).

It opens the Get Help application and asks for consent to uninstall office.
I'm working now and don't have a testbench, so uninstalling my own office woulld be pretty detremental to my day, but I will try to send an update when I test this tomorrow on a user's machine.
Honestly Microsoft, just stop.
