Is Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) Dead? November 2024. I see its migrated to Get Help.

I can't seem to open it anymore.

It was my very effective tool to troubleshoot Office application problems.

Can you help provide alternatives? and must be a Microsoft product like SaRa.

    Dave, I would love to but some genius will complain about how my code did whatever to their device. So I will pass. But here is all the info you need. Basically write a simple script to delete the folders and registry keys listed for your version of office. Also the activation document is great, wrote a script for that one too. If all else fails you can try REVO uninstaller? https://www.revouninstaller.com/

    What is the other replacement/option in absence of  SARA tool?

    Also what other options available apart from Get-help?

    The latest word (15th of January) is that this is still an open bug. No additional information has been provided.

    I have sent an e-mail to the Office team, trying to find out what has happened with the original SARA application. I will post back with any updates I get.
