I have a document I share using Excel online via onedrive. I update it in on the desktop app and people access it via a link, and view it on the Web version.
Up until yesterday, a viewer would be able to click a cells with a hyperlink to another sheet in the workbook, and it would automatically take them there. Today, every single cell with a hyperlink requests the viewer to 'ctrl and click' to follow the hyperlink.
I have gone though every single option on my desktop Excel app to try and turn off this 'ctrl and click' functuon but I genuinely cannot find anything relevant or that has worked. I have the latest version of Excel for Mac and I haven't changed any settings.
Please, how do I make hyperlinks work automatically again? Thank you!!

I found that hovering over the link pops up the link. Click it and the tab opens as the active tab.
I Found a work around, select Cell / right click mouse / link options /open link
There is No "CTRL + Click" option in the Excel Options any more. It's simply not there. Did Microsoft remove it? Did the Adobe or some other add in remove it?
"Use CTRL + Click to follow hyperlink." does not appear as one of the choices under File > Options > Advanced > Editing Options in my version of Excel.
The solution originally provided in this thread does not work online with Office 365.
