I have a document I share using Excel online via onedrive. I update it in on the desktop app and people access it via a link, and view it on the Web version.
Up until yesterday, a viewer would be able to click a cells with a hyperlink to another sheet in the workbook, and it would automatically take them there. Today, every single cell with a hyperlink requests the viewer to 'ctrl and click' to follow the hyperlink.
I have gone though every single option on my desktop Excel app to try and turn off this 'ctrl and click' functuon but I genuinely cannot find anything relevant or that has worked. I have the latest version of Excel for Mac and I haven't changed any settings.
Please, how do I make hyperlinks work automatically again? Thank you!!

I found that hovering over the link pops up the link. Click it and the tab opens as the active tab.
I Found a work around, select Cell / right click mouse / link options /open link
I do not have the "Use CTRL + Click to follow hyperlink" under Editing.
Open Excel and click on File > Options. In the Excel Options dialog box, select Advanced. Scroll down to the Editing options section. Uncheck the box next to Use CTRL + Click to follow hyperlink. Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog box. After doing this, clicking on hyperlinks should follow the link directly without needing the Ctrl key.
Forgive me, my wording is not that good... I used to "mark" an empty cell, and then move about with the arrow keys to the cell I wanted to edit, all to avoid clicking the link, which I would when using the mouse...
Hope that is a bit more clear.
I now have this problem, and its a real pain. Please can the people who supply these updates stop imposing new features, and instead allow users to turn them off if they do not work from them.
