I have a document I share using Excel online via onedrive. I update it in on the desktop app and people access it via a link, and view it on the Web version.
Up until yesterday, a viewer would be able to click a cells with a hyperlink to another sheet in the workbook, and it would automatically take them there. Today, every single cell with a hyperlink requests the viewer to 'ctrl and click' to follow the hyperlink.
I have gone though every single option on my desktop Excel app to try and turn off this 'ctrl and click' functuon but I genuinely cannot find anything relevant or that has worked. I have the latest version of Excel for Mac and I haven't changed any settings.
Please, how do I make hyperlinks work automatically again? Thank you!!

I found that hovering over the link pops up the link. Click it and the tab opens as the active tab.
I Found a work around, select Cell / right click mouse / link options /open link
how to mark using keyboard arrows?
Same, as of a few hours ago this wasn't an issue and now i come back to work after lunch and every single one of us on the team has to hold ctrl + click to open links, we're all pretty annoyed but it seems nothing we can do about it as all settings features are controlled by our organization. If this was some microsoft update - it shouldnt just change settings on its own like that.

I can live with hovering... Also I may now see the point in this change, I often change the URLs in my links, and have actually found it a bit frustrating thet every so often marking a cell would open the link, rather than give the option to edit, I had to mark the cells with the keyboard arrows instead. That "problem" is now solved :)
