16.86 very slow on Sharepoint

Split from this thread about an older build of Word.

MS word MacOS version 16.86 intel consumes a lot of energy and lags all the time, very annoying on SharePoint where all users are affected, regardless of OS.

Clearing Cache all the time (at times almost 2Gb)helps a while. Autosave or not-no effect. Intel or M1 - same thing. 200 pages document, 15Mb is not big.

    Yours is the only report so far about Sharepoint. I wonder what version of SharePoint is involved.

    If you can determine the Sharepoint version, please report this issue to Microsoft using the Menu Bar and choosing Help > Feedback > I Don't Like Something. However, such a trouble report would best be made by your IT department by opening up a trouble ticket.
