I want to disable Excel 365 performance improvement auto-nags

This is about repetitive screen clutter, it doesn't need to be there so let's switch it off. I'll point out that contract worker such as myself have no scope to change the settings of the working models of companies we work at. So on a daily basis we have to clean away screen trash which is electronically generated by a Microsoft product. Screen space is always at a premium.

Now the answers on the above link completely skip around the issue - if anything they misunderstand what the questioner is driving at. As another person irritated by intrusive - let's call it feature creep (harsher words could be used) - I'm bemused that increasing product complexity isn't accompanied by ways to clean things up by eg turning off nags.

The issue hasn't gone away. It isn't solved. And yes - just to be clear - I'm perfectly able to redesign spreadsheets to make them more efficient and limit bloat - and I do this if it's in my remit.

I'm also aware that answers can be phrased to close down issues that aren't going to be fixed.

    M$ added the "feature" that we DON'T like. A support ticket should be raised by the moderator with M$ to add an option for us to use or NOT USE this HORRIBLE "feature" that checks for something that many don't care about. I PUT these formatting options in BECAUSE I wanted them there. M$ should not tell me, unless I ask for help with poor performance, that there are formatted cells that "may be" causing performance issues. JUST A DUMB thing to have to click it away EVERY TIME I open the workbook.

    If the feature is not there, how raising a support ticket would help, exactly?

    That is the least helpful reply ever. "Support team there will have the correct channel and resources to help you investigate more and find what exactly the reason has caused this situation." Microsoft caused the situation by assuming what its customers needed instead of actually asking its customers.

    You may create a support ticket to raise it directly to Microsoft.

    Please contact your admin/IT department create a support ticket via Microsoft 365 Admin Center> Support> New service request. Support team there will have the correct channel and resources to help you investigate more and find what exactly the reason has caused this situation.
