Hello, What software will people be using and why when Publisher is phased out in October 2026? Thank you.
I know there's InDesign and Canva. Also, will Publisher files be able to be converted ?

I use Publisher to create the free local magazine. Word does not do the job well enough, and Powerpoint does not print out in an easy-to-use manner that allows booklets to be made up. What can I do?

2025-04-11T17:02:58+00:00 Rowan, I have a similar problem. It is a shame that Microsoft doesn't realize what a truly unique program Publisher is. What I am doing is buying a computer/ laptop and loading an old version of Publisher. I purchased Publisher 2021 from Mr. KEY a very reputable dealer in England.As long as you don't put any other Microsoft program on it, it should work very well for you.

2025-04-13T00:40:53+00:00 Yes - THIS!!! I have hundreds of Publisher files, and sorry, Word and PowerPoint are nothing like it. The freeform ability to do layouts of images and text without conflict has always been lightyears ahead for the ridiculous "anchors" that constantly tie me up trying to slides text, objects and images around.
