Hello, What software will people be using and why when Publisher is phased out in October 2026? Thank you.
I know there's InDesign and Canva. Also, will Publisher files be able to be converted ?

You can sign up for Canva for non-profit and get a free license! I prefer Publisher for most things but I also use Canva for our non-profit and they have tons and tons of templates for newsletters.
I love making schedules and color coded calendars. They are perfect for us as seniors and our children and grandchildren can read and understand them.
I think you need to put the publisher tools in the word app.
Publisher is easy to use and user friendly and we have used it for years. Without it we won't be able to make the cool things as the calendar in Word really is not good. It is limited.
I will miss the ability to make things with the grandchildren for projects and special days like birthdays and anniversaries. It is sad to see it go.
Will there be suggestions for apps for the app we are losing. I assume the price of Microsoft 365 will drop with the cutting of programs.

I submitted feedback through Publisher itself not a forum. To do so, open a new Publisher file, click File at the top left and open Feedback with the Windows key + F.
