Hello, What software will people be using and why when Publisher is phased out in October 2026? Thank you.

I know there's InDesign and Canva. Also, will Publisher files be able to be converted ?

I recently reset my PC and tried to load Office 365 (Microsoft 365) and it forced Copilot on me with no Publisher. So I reset again, but searched and found Office 365 with publisher and loaded that.

Try Libre Office, Writer module, it imports .PUB files. But still needs a little bit of tweaking but at least it retains graphics and text.

If you have a license for Office 2021 that includes Publisher, you will be able to use Publisher even after October 2026. That means Office 2021 Professional and some others. (The same is true for even older versions, such as Office 2019.)

Is there any way to install Publisher from a licensed version of Office 2021 if Office 2024 (which doesn't include Publisher) has been installed?

Try Libre Office, it does import .PUB files.
