Hello, What software will people be using and why when Publisher is phased out in October 2026? Thank you.

I know there's InDesign and Canva. Also, will Publisher files be able to be converted ?

    For anyone that doesn't want the added copilot you can change your subscription in your account otherwise on renewal you will automatically be charged the higher subscription to include it. We have Microsoft 365 Family costing £79.99/year on renewal this was suddenly going to jump up to £104.99, I logged into my account and changed the subscription to Microsoft 365 Family Classic which will continue at £79.99. (does not include copilot)

    Sophia - we have used the excellent Publisher product and have 10 years worth of file copies of our monthly local magazine stored as Publisher files. What can we do?? Thank you ABC magazine team

    I agree with Stansberry and enerak.

    And I'm working on how to navigate my non-profit newsletter commitments without Publisher. I downloaded LibreOffice and have been messing around with that. And I just signed up to receive information on Posit. It's for scientific and business publication purposes, it seems, but since it mentions newsletters I thought I'd check it out.

    I'm wondering now if they just wanted to create a fire storm and last minute seemingly relent and offer to keep it for lots of bucks as stand alone. Or they just don't care, maybe they are run by AI and human connection/empathy is lost. I just found a survey in my Junk Mail from MS Rewards wanting feedback, dated March 7, available only for a limited time. So, yeah, the survey isn't open any more, can't share my opinion.
