Hello, What software will people be using and why when Publisher is phased out in October 2026? Thank you.

I know there's InDesign and Canva. Also, will Publisher files be able to be converted ?

Does WP allow you to integrate (and enhance) photos and other artwork into the text?

I'm going back to WordPerfect, I'm sure there are a lot more features of WordPerfect that would work that I hadn't figured out before. Also I contacted WP company to suggest they come up with a conversion from Publisher.

That is correct. Word is not that useful for such work. I am looking at Adobe Pro or Adobe Express to see if it will work. Would be good if Microsoft would either continue with Publisher even if no updates and not remove it entirely.

I have looked at alternatives to Microsoft Publisher but none of them are as easy to use. They also all seem to want me to use it in one way but I use publisher for the church magazine, for worksheets for teaching, for leaflets and posters etc - in other words I use it for a wide variety of work.

Word of course doesn't begin to compare as there is no working area around the page and moving pictures or text is often sticky and difficult.

I don't like it that pusbilsher go away. I do a lot of things with that.

I tried to find some alternative and a way to convert or something.

Yes, word and powerpoint is improved, but still not the same as publisher.
