Hello, What software will people be using and why when Publisher is phased out in October 2026? Thank you.

I know there's InDesign and Canva. Also, will Publisher files be able to be converted ?

This is EXTREMELY disappointing. I use Publisher for everything! I absolutely love it. Word is completely different than Publisher and IS NOT an adequate replacement.

Did it open in the Draw or Writer module.

Draw was a bit awkward but writer was much better.

I have not looked at the colour issue yet, as I haven't had to produce a file yet

Libre didn't covert well at all for us. It changed color of our doc and graphics and overlapped the articles. It was a mess. Our articles are medical articles that are more that one page.

Libre is out, I am not starting over.

Libre Office Draw opens Publisher files and does everything Publisher does! And, it's totally free! Thank you so much for this information!!!

I agree, Carol, however, I am biding my time. October, 2026 is still quite a long way off. Competition is getting tougher so I shall 'just wait and see'!
