I am in the same boat. I work for two non-profits. I have been searching for easy to use alternatives but so far, I have not found any.

Hello, What software will people be using and why when Publisher is phased out in October 2026? Thank you.
I know there's InDesign and Canva. Also, will Publisher files be able to be converted ?

I signed up for a free trial of Affinity and pretty quickly figured out that it was created for someone with a lot more knowledge that what is needed for Publisher. It is not intuitive and is very clunky. I am not sure that I will stick with it.
100% agree with Amanda! I have hundred of publisher files that I would have to recreate in another program. Canva is ok, but agree its not great and there is a lot you can't do on canva that you can do with publisher. This is very disappointing!
Im not starting over. Going with canva. Im a good at canva. I just not to move some text boxes but it coverted well.
Our nope. Our npo has spent enough.
We have also considered ditching the newsletter all together.
