Hello, What software will people be using and why when Publisher is phased out in October 2026? Thank you.

I know there's InDesign and Canva. Also, will Publisher files be able to be converted ?

    If one upgrades a PC, would the answer be to use Publisher on the old PC for the design work, Save a copy of the file as a P{DF, transfer it to a FlashDrive to use on new PC .

    The key is to never hook the old PC up to the Internet. Or am I missing something?

    I am facing the same need to have Publisher or it's renamed product.

    Why I am writing this wee note to you is how to save existing Publisher files in a printable format;

    when Saving say into Documents, below the file name, the Save As line, click the small arrow, in the list now click the format you know will continue. I always click PDF.

    I got Offuce Professional 2007. Not sure it will be new enough now.

    But great idea just ditching MS365.

    Yes.

    Colors were wrong and made into horrible graphics.

    Articles that were long ran down the screen instead on going where they were..

    It was a horrible, unfixable mess.

    Last resort is canva. It coverted well there it is just putzy to work with longer than one page things.

    But I will if I have to. I do have 2021 disc's tho and a Chromebook and or I create a new email account and add the new software to the current laptop.

    MS really just needs to let it be and just not update it.

    Their "options" are not viable for most of us.
