OneNote fingerprint unlock is not working

When setting up a protected section on Onenote on my samsung fold6 it I enable the box that says use fingerprint next time but when I go to unlock it again it asks for the password again with the use fingerprint box still enabled. It never lets me use my fingerprint to unlock the sections. Anyone know a fix for this?

    Yeap, I do not use Standard Notes for business purposes, I just use it as a personal regular text note-taking app, and it has all I need. I don't need any special formatting or anything of the sort. Just personal, simple, and straight to the point note-taking.

    It has all the other advanced stuff, but of course some of those are behind a paywall.

    Nope, my core message is to make people who don't need all the fancy stuff aware of the fact that there is a great alternative to OneNote. Why is that so hard to understand for you?

    Nope, did not think of defensive narrow-minded people such as yourself. I thought about the many who might appreciate a great alternative to OneNote for people who need a basic note-taking application with great options on the free version. Why is that so hard to grasp for you?
